Very tasty, courteous staff, very clean. And most importantly handicapped and child friendly.

Very well! A nice big buffet. You can also have dishes freshly roasted. It is nice that the drinks are included in the price. This is not a must but makes perfect sense. Good wine is available for 1EURO surcharge (per glass), which is really cheap. Everything else is there in a large selection. Dr Service is super, very courteous and helpful. Sufficient parking spaces are available. It's worth trying!

Unfortunately, some dishes were not fresh and sticky, cold, ...! At dessert the cream puffs were very old and you couldn't eat it. This time we were really very disappointed!

My experiences here are actually quite good. The hygiene during corona times is good; There are disinfectants everywhere, the staff wears masks and there are glass hoods over the raw ingredients. On the other hand, the rather rotten seating disturbs the good impression. The food tastes good, but some of the ready-made items were quite cold. That does not have to be.

Very tasty, unfortunately quite well attended on Saturday. Good for the operator just staying away from the buffet is not easy

Came in.. First put disinfectant on it .. it stank soo that the smell didn't go away .. The food doesn't go at all ... If you have that on your plate for 2 minutes, it's already cold. Dessert looks very cheap and is more for kids ... It stinks in the store too ...

We spontaneously went to China Star Essen today, and I have to say it was really, really good! The staff was super courteous and friendly and despite the unfortunately few guests a really great buffet. All the dishes were delicious and fresh. We will definitely be back! And I hope many others too!

It used to be good, but under the old leadership. The food itself was good. BUT when it comes to hygiene ... tragedy. Attendance list was only presented on request at the end when paying. The statement on this was that you forgot to present this list at the beginning because there is so much to do today. Doesn't it matter if there was a lot going on? Then should you pay attention to it? No lists were given at the tables around us either. In addition, no attention was paid to the correct wearing of mouth and nose protection. Either the mask was worn on the chin at the buffet or no mask was worn at all. And then the crowning glory. When we asked for the bill, the service staff was just clearing the next table. A couple with a dog had previously sat at this table. There was also a bowl with water for the dog, which was under the table. Instead of taking the bowl away and maybe disinfecting her hands, the lady put the bowl on the next table and wanted to cash in. We then told the lady that we would think it would be great if she would disinfect her hands beforehand. I then offered her my own. The lady was astonished. Sorry, but that was an example of how it shouldn't work We were there last time.

Very tasty food, large selection, everything fresh, well chilled and protected. Very friendly staff, everything bright and nicely decorated. We also knew it before the renovation and now find it even more beautiful than before. Prices are good too. As always, we'd love to come back.

Hello, We ordered in different restaurants during the Corona period. Everyone tried very hard, but the Asian restaurant China Star clearly stood out as the favorite. They offer good extensive menus, balanced in terms of meat, vegetables, sauces and side dishes. Many greetings from Karolingerstrasse! Keep it up!

Positive: delicious dishes and a pleasant selection of dishes, the prices are ok, nice atmosphere. Negative: The staff is unfortunately a very big weak point - the waitresses are unfriendly, poorly trained and really spoil your mood. Please do something about it! Some of the grilled food was still raw and the seats were getting on in years and therefore uncomfortable.
